Winter Parking Rules

Winter Overnight Parking Rules

From November 15 through March 31 of the following year, vehicles may not park between the hours of 2:00 am to 6:00 am on any City street and year around from 3:00 am to 6:00 am downtown.  No vehicle may be left parked on any City street for a period of time longer than 24 consecutive hours.  Overnight Parking is also prohibited in all City lots.

Vehicles may not park on the street until the snow has been plowed to the curb line.  Signs have also been erected, prohibiting parking on certain streets to facilitate snow removal.  Vehicles parked in violation of these regulations may be ticketed by the police and may also be towed away during snow and ice control operations.
